Next Stop - Office/Craft Room

If you follow me on Facebook {You should!} you already saw this beauty.

Isn’t is amazing?!  That fabric! That chair! Sigh….

Now I like to think of myself as handy in a crafty DIY kinda way, but upholstering a chair is WAY out of my league.  It got me to thinking that I do need this fabric someway, somehow in my life.  So, I clicked on the Pinterest image and it went nowhere. Most annoying thing ever, Pinterest!

Then I remembered the other day when browsing fabric.com for Jen’s Make{You}over I spotted a very, very similar fabric.  But, at the time I was way into my Make{You}over and figured oh, I’ll remember where I found it.

Of course I didn’t remember where I found it.  So I spent about an hour pouring over fabric.com for this fabric.  Then when I realized and hour had passed and I needed to be way more productive with my day I enlisted your help.  {Thanks to everyone!}  But, still no luck.  Enter amazing live chat customer service and the angel Jasmine.  I found it!!

I LOVE IT!!  The walls in the room are a blueish grey and I thought this would brighten up the space and look so perfect as panel curtains.  My dream was crushed when I realized the fabric is $20 a yard.  So, I settled for one yard that will be a pillow for my office chair.  {Side note, what do you think of this fabric with a grey and white chevron chair?}

So, there you have it the inspiration and start of a little office/craft room redo project.  I’m so stinking excited!  Thanks to the Hubs for finally letting me get rid of the never used all in one weight machine thing.  It is perfect for letting wreaths dry but totally cramping my style in the room!

Stay tuned for this project.  It won’t be finished anytime soon since this is going to be a very budget friendly re do.  Can’t wait to share.  I have so many ideas swimming in my head!
